Margit Slachta was born in Kassa, Hungary in 1884. As a young woman she emigrated to the United States with her parents where they lived for a short period, and then returned to Hungary. She earned a secondary education degree in German and French languages from a Catholic training school in Budapest.[5] There she met Carlotta Koran yi, a Hungarian activist, who instilled in her a concern for the condition of working women and children. She later met Koranyi in Berlin where they learned organizational skills for "collective action" based on "political fronts." After the training, Slachta formed the Union of Catholic Women that promoted the female franchise.[6] In 1920, Slachta was the first woman to be elected to the Hungarian Parliament where most of her speeches focused on the condition of women and children.[7] Widely known throughout Hungary for her political successes, her broadly based sympathies placed her on the left of the political spectrum, particularly during the war.[8] Self-confident and strong, she relied not only on her community, but also on Hungarian women in high places to accomplish her objectives.[9] It appears, however, that Slachta's political activism was inspired by a desire for spiritual growth and to serve the greater glory of God, rather than political power. She joined the Society of the Soci al Mission, a religious community founded by Edith Farkas in 1908.[10] Apparently Slachta had a different vision than Farkas, and in 1923 with a clear sense of purpose instituted a new community which grew under her leadership to become the Sisters of So cial Service in Budapest.[11] Slachta viewed her apostolic community as one designed to meet contemporary problems as well as those of the future through work among the poor. The Social Sisters were well known throughout Hungary for nursing, midwifery, and orphanage services. These professional activities were anchored together with charitable works and collective political action.[12] Slachta's zeal infused her articles, countless letters, and spiritual writings. Slachta’s political activities increased as World War II unfolded in East Central Europe, and becomes apparent in her spiritual writings and letters. The first anti-Jewish laws were passed in Hungary in 1938, and from that time on, Slachta published articles opposing anti-Jewish measures in Lelek Szava, or The Voice of the Spirit.[13] Sisters of the Social Service were instructed to become familiar with her sympathies to the Jewish cause in preparation for action.[14] The invasio n of Poland in 1939 catalyzed the eastward migration of Jewish families who began to fall under the immediate threat of the Wehrmacht.[ Sourcesedit68.3.250.29 07:38, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

As previously mentioned, WFDb.co.uk aims to provide high user interactivity. Members are able to rate players / referees / managers; submit match reports / team profiles / player profiles; input match data as the action unfolds and many more interesting features! Members can also help report on their specific team by discussing team related issues on the forum, providing squad information and submitting photographs related to their side. By offering such high levels of user activity we hope to be able to make people feel as though they can help craft the site and dictate the topics up for discussion as well as creating a definitive web based football database. The site is riddled with basic Javascript errors, making it a nuisance for all to use. He was discovered in a carrier bag by lock 16 of the Union Canal on March 12th 1976 which inspired his first work "Forth and Clyde, I Never Knew You". Richard John Bayntun Hippisley (1865-1956)

Richard John Bayntun Hippisley was an early pioneer of wireless telegraphy and a member of the British Admiralty’s ‘Room 40’ codebreaking team during World War One. Described in his obituary as “one of the men who really won the war”, Bayntun and fellow wireless amateur Edward Russell Clarke were recruited by Sir Alfred Ewing, who had been appointed by Churchill to run Room 40, in September 1914 and sent to Hunstanton to set up a wireless station, which became known as 'Hippisley's Hut'. They subsequently set up a string of stations around the British Isles as well as in Italy and Malta. Bayntun Hippisley was born in Ston Easton, Somerset in 1865, the only son of John 'Ivan' Hippisley and Christine Ellen Lydia Boodé, a granddaughter of Admiral Sir Henry William Bayntun. Bayntun attended Rugby School in Warwickshire from 1880 to 1882 and Faraday House in London where he studied engineering and mathematics. His grandfather, known as the "Old Squire", was a member of many of Europe's leading scientific societies, and Bayntun inherited this interest in science. When his father died on 6th February 1885, Bayntun, aged nineteen, became heir to the family's estates. The Hippisley family had been Lords of the Manor of Ston Easton since 1544, and Bayntun inherited these estates upon the death of his grandfather in 1898. Bayntun married Constance Amy Francis on 4th January 1905 in Tiverton, Devon. She was born in Tiverton in about 1876 and was the daughter of Augustus Lawrence Francis and Emily Constance Unwin. Bayntun and Constance had three children together - John Preston, born 19th October 1905; Christine Elizabeth, born 30th September 1908, and Claude Francis Bayntun, born 28th September 1910. Bayntun became interested in wireless telegraphy and in 1913 was appointed a member of the War Office Committee on Wireless Telegraphy. He was awarded the O.B.E. in 1918 and the C.B.E. in 1937. He died in 1956 and was described in his obituary as "an almost unique personality" who "inherited a remarkable mechanical and scientific gift, which put him in the forefront, if not ahead, of most of his contemporaries".

Brutus Metallum is a Maine Heavy Metal/Thrash band founded by Lead Guitarist, Israel Fickett. Israel "Izzy" Fickett found Rythm Guitarist, Cameron King, in a resteraunt he was busing tables at. Izzy offered Cameron a once in a life-time offer that left King speechless. Fickett offered King if he wanted to play in his rock band, Fickett then told King that he already had a label, but in truth, Fickett had no label. After 3 months of playing together with bassist Evan Burris, found drummer Beau Bridges. Bridges had been friends with King since they both were in the 3rd grade. On March 6th, 2007, Brutus Metallum had there first practice in the basement of Fickett's house. From August 10th, 1998 to February 19th, 2007, Brutus Metallum went under the name of Amplify. After many years of trying to come up with a name for the band other than Amplify, (King found out that "Amplify" was a [Christian]] Rock band in the Tennessee area) King found a Latin translating web-site, King then typed in Heavy Metal to find that the translation from English, was Brutus Metallum. The main influences of this band is Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tool, and Dementia. Brutus Metallum's album's are "Brutus Metallum", "Postsasis", "Creeping Desire", and "Take Cover" which contains there huge hit's, "The Battle" and "Hit My Head". There Demo, "Brutus Metallum" contains cover songs from Tool, Metallica, Pink Floyd, and Brutus Metallum's "Take Cover". Dmitry Kvasnyuk-Male 18 years old began his amateur career as a Table Tennis player at The University of Washington. Known as "The Balerina" his style is unorthodox, and weak, but it manages to prove effective enough to get him into the semi-finals in the singles bracket at his first tournament. Also known for his long flowing mane which both adds to and subtracts from (when in a pony tail) his masculinity, Dmitry has wooed many women and continues to do so today. Dmitry also loves video games, and The Commons At Federal Way. The next step Dmitry is planning to take in his life is a large one: Purchasing a Playstattion 3. "I'm seroiusly thinking about it." He once told me in an interview where things got a little more personal than I had anticipated. He told me of his love for video games, and the excitement he had for the release of "Metal Gear Solid 4". Behind that lean physique, long hair, and intimidating table tennis style Kvasnyuk remains a simple person. It is a refreshing reminder that even the greats are all human at heart. BiographyeditGrowing UpeditJuli Venom was born on July 31st in Omaha, Nebraska. Living with her military father, hard working mother and two older siblings, Venom and her family were only in Omaha for a few short months before moving to the east coast USA. By the tender age of twelve, Juli had lived in three different continents, visited over twenty countries and moved twenty six times. PoetryeditAt age seven, Venom went on the rarely visited website, poetry.com and entered her own poem, which was thought up in minutes. Her poem, written under her birth name, is titled My Sweet Dreamer. She ended up beating out thousands of adults world wide, getting second place and landing her a spot in the International Poets Society, as well as a large silver trophy for her efforts. This poetic fame also landed Juli many offers to speak in conferences in Washington DC, altough these were passed down as she was living overseas at the time. Anichkov, Nikolai Nikolaevich (often spelled Anitschkow in German literature as well as Anitchkov etc.) (1885-1964) was prominent pathologist, Doctor of Medicine (1909), Doctor of Sciences (1912), Professor of Pathology (1920), lieutenant-general of Medical Corps, State award holder (1940), Fellow of the Academy of Sciences and Academy of Medical Sciences of USSR, President of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR (1946–53). One may find his biography in many encyclopedias of Russia and other countries. Anichkov described first the specialized myocardial cells (Anitschkow cells) and discovered the significance and role of cholesterol in atherosclerosis pathogenesis. In 1958, in an editorial in Annals of Internal Medicine, William Dock compared the significance of the classic work of Anichkov to that of the discovery of the tubercle bacillus by Robert Koch. The well known American biochemist Daniel Steinberg wrote: "If the full significance of his findings had been appreciated at the time, we might have saved more than 30 years in the long struggle to settle the cholesterol controversy and Anitschkow might have won a Nobel Prize" (J. Lipid Res., 2004, Vol. 45, p. 1583-93). Anichkov has much elaborated on the doctrines of reticuloendothelial system and autogenic infections. His father, Nikolai M. Anichkov (1844–1916) was a representative of ancient Russian nobility and held the position of Vice-Minister of Education of the Russian Empire. His mother, L. I. Vasiliyeva (1859–1924), was the daughter of a priest that was founder of the Alexander Nevsky Orthodox church in Rue Daru, Paris. In 1903, Anichkov entered the Imperial Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg. There, he became a pupil of prominent Russian histologist Alexander Maximow (1874–1928) and later a pupil of the famous German pathologist Karl Albert Ludwig Aschoff (1866–1942). Upon his graduation in 1909, Anichkov began to work on his doctoral thesis, titled “Inflammatory changes in myocardium: apropos of myocarditis,” and he successfully defended it in 1912. In this thesis, he first described the “myocyte” that today bears his name. At the same time, Anichkov worked on an experimental model of atherosclerosis together with a student S. Chalatov. Finally, they created a model of experimental atherosclerosis, which was recognized as “classic” and used by a great number of researchers. In 1912, Anichkov moved to Freiburg to work under abovementioned Prof. L. Aschoff. The latter was very interested in Anichkov's experimental work made in Russia. Thus, Anichkov began to work in the most advanced scientific environment of the time. In Germany he became the first to describe the “cholesterinesterphagozyten,” which derive from macrophages and today are known as foam cells. By histological analyzing atherosclerotic plaque's development, Anichkov identified the cell types involved in the atherosclerotic process: smooth muscle cells, macrophages, and lymphocytes. Finally, he discovered the leading role of cholesterol in atherosclerosis development (“There is no atherosclerosis without a cholesterol”.). Anichkov had worked in Aschoff's laboratory up to the World War I broke out in August 1914. Then he joined the Russian Army Medical Corps and, from 1914 to 1917, was appointed as a physician-in-charge. In 1920, Anichkov was appointed Professor of the Department of Pathological physiology of the Military Medical Academy, a position that he held until 1939. Subsequently, he presented updates on atherosclerosis research at the Congresses in Berlin, Freiburg, Würzburg and Wiesbaden, and at meetings of the Swedish Society of Pathologists, and the International Society of Geographic Pathology. In 1930, after the Congress in Osaka, he went to Tokyo, Niigata, and Kyoto, to deliver a lecture “On experimental atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries of the heart.” So, Anichkov's work on atherosclerosis was gaining worldwide recognition. Then he wrote a chapter in E.V. Cowdry's Arteriosclerosis: A Survey of the Problem, in 1933. In 1939-46, the lieutenant-general of Medical Corps Anichkov headed the Military Medical Academy's Department of Pathological anatomy. In 1942, Anichkov and A. I. Abrikosov received a State award for their textbook Pathological Anatomy of the Heart and Vessels, in which they gave a detailed account of the development of atherosclerosis and ischemic heart disease. In their 1998 book titled Medicine's 10 Greatest Discoveries, M. Friedman and M. Friedland included the Anichkov's cholesterol theory in the list of greatest discoveries in Medicine. During Anichkov's work in the high state rank of President of the Academy of Medical Sciences (1946–53) he actively participated in the foundation of a number of research institutes and research journals. In this period and later he created a big research team in Russian pathology that consisted of 30 Professors and many Doctors. Anichkov was married twice. He had one son Mily (1920-1991), who subsequently became a Professor of Surgery and Colonel of Medical Corps. His grandson Nikolai M. Anichkov (born in 1941) is Professor of Pathology, Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Vice-President of the Russian Society of Pathology. All N. N. Anichkov's children and colleagues remembered him as a kind-hearted man who was always fair to his coworkers and good to his friends. He died on 7 December 1964 of a myocardial infarction. Bi-catch refers to the fish and other marine life that is unintentionally captured and killed while fishing. Large industrial fishing vessels often sell less than 50% of what they catch and kill and the rest is returned to the ocean dead. Bi-catch is one of the reasons that fisheries are declining. Often when ships try to catch a particular fish, they also catch what the fish eats. In other cases, they can't legally sell juvenile fish of certain species but catch them accidently and by the time they throw them back they are dead. Many of the larger fishing vessels sort, cook and pack fish right on board the ship. The process of sorting desirable fish from undesirable fish is usually long enough that all the undesirable fish die before they are returned to the ocean. TERSHYISM is a religion invented and practiced by a high-school boy named Zach Staska. The religion is(jokingly)practiced and followed by a series of his students/classmates. The true focus for followers of the religion is that god and satan are the same person. The inspiration for the religion came from a song called "Descending" by the Heavy Metal band, "Lamb Of God". At some point in the song, it says "This god that i worship. this demon i blame. conspire as one, exactly the same, it's exactly the same." This lyric gave Zach a theory which, in turn, started this entire FAKE religion. THE THEORY: The theory zach came up with makes this statement: All religions have a god, or a higher being that the followers worship. But accourding to the Christian/Catholic religion, their god is in fact...GOD. If their one god alone can be considered GOD, then in a general theory, god must be more powerful and more godley than all the others. but the only way that could be true is if he was in fact the collaboration of all the others. And if THIS is true, than satan would have to be a part of God, because Satan is the higher being accourding to the satanist religion.
RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS: As you may know, every religion has it's own symbol or symbols(i.e, christian is the cross.), so of course, Tershyism has it's own symbols. The first, and possibaly most important, symbol under the religion is the "Eye Of Sod." The eye of Sod is the way order is kept among the followers of the religion. The eye is almost like the 10 commandments in the Christian religion. The same rules apply, but if you break them, you are faced with the pressure of Sod. The only way to clense your soul from the sin you commited is to draw the eye of sod(which resembles a cat or reptile's eye) on the palm of your hand. You must keep it on for an entire day, so all of the world can see that you have done something wrong. The second symbol is the Penta-cross. This is simpaly the Pentagram(satan) with a black cross(god) going through it verticaly. This symbol is just to classify that what you are looking at has something to do with tershyism. THE PURPOSE: The only real purpose of this religion ever being invented is to see how many people could be converted. The spreading of the religion only lasted a day, and 3 people were "converted". PLEASE NOTE: This is to be in NO WAY taken seriously. Nor do I(Zach Staska, founder) believe in this religion, in ANY way. but you have to admit, that theory makes sense. Arnold "John" Daly, 1942-2007. A Long Beach Native dedicated to service of his country and home town where he was a well respected Detective, Firefighter, Lifeguard and Naval Reservist. Also known as "J Dizzle", John was a man among men, often credited with super human powers it was claimed that John once stung a bee, dared his grass to grow, and lit his cigarettes by staring at them. It was once said that John didn’t get sandy, the sand got John Dalyed. John could make snowballs out of sand and divide by the number zero. He has been awarded many accolades for Valor in the fields of Lifesaving, Law Enforcement, including Cold water rescues. Bryce Alexander, born May 10th, 1985 established a life that will be remembered by everyone that knew him. Born in Trinidad, he came to the USA at the age of 14 and was the first in his family to go to college. In his adaption process, he learnt a lot about himself and lived his life to the fullest. Horseosaurus

This article is about a rare dinosaur named the Horseosaurus. It was a horse-like dinosaur in the Jurrasic Period. It is similiar to a horse with its mane and tail and similiar bone structure. Studies have shown that they have hooves and are Herbavores. The Horseosaurus stands at about 58 ft tall and weighed about 3 Tons when they were adults. Dr. Ken Shiblanko was the first to see the fossils in an open plain in Kentucky and did many studies on them. They only had threee legs and one eye that stood in the center of their foreheads. Benjamin Krempasky I is the oldest living man in Honesdale, PA and has been Grand Marshall at the Von Stubenday festival since 1933. He has been described as "Naturally, the main focus of investigation is the cerebral cortex. In this paper, I survey the recent literature for evidence about the replicability of these studies. The survey covers 125 primary research articles, taken from 21 different journals during the first 10 months of 1997." (Harpaz, Yehouda 1998).
